Primitive Cabin

Tucked away on the top of the mountain, The Solitude Cabin offers eccentric views from it's oversized covered deck.  The Solitude Cabin runs in solar energy and natural, rain water source. 

The cabin includes a picnic table and grill, log fireplace, kitchenette, out-house,  pine wood interior and hardwood floors. The futon converts into a full size bed and has down pillows and blankets 

to keep you comfortable during our year-round cool mountain nights.  Solitude is a rustic, primitive cabin for the adventures one seeking pure nature.The Solitude accommodates up to 2 adults. (Sleeping arrangements: 1 Futon which converts to a full size bed). Air mattress for children are welcome.

Here are some activities to do without ever leaving the property:

Visit some of the friendliest horses (and chickens) on the planet in our barns and paddocks. Hike our Mountain and enjoy the views at 5000 feet, simply AMAZING in the fall. Enjoy your Mountain Bike here or on the scenic byways just off the farm. Fly fish on site in our Hatchery Supported Trout Stream. Reserve a Carriage or Buckboard Ride for all occasions. Relax at our stream side "glider gazebo" or enjoy a swim in its cool water. Light up your grill and picnic at your cabin site. Take a 1/2 mile walk to the Historic Shopping District.

Other activities provided by the High Country within 15 miles of our property include Golfing, Antique Shopping, Water Rafting, River Tubing, Mountain Hiking, Bouldering, Spelunking (caving), Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Swimming in Natural Swimming Holes, "Tweetsie Railroad" Theme Park, Horn In The West (Outdoor theater), Skiing, Snow Boarding, Tubing, Festivals and Local Celebrations.
